Suddenly Browsers Very Slow, Had to Turn Avast off

Late last week my machine got very slow when surfing, sites dont even come up. SOme do some dont. This using firefox, chrome and IE. Yes my OS is old vista home basic. Today I have turned off avast and all working well. I think avast was updated last week to version 17.5.2302 build 17.5.3559.0.

My connection is fine 32 mps. My work laptop is working just fine. (no avast)

The ransomware seems new?

I tried turning some off and customizing others but no luck. In general with ransomware I have 8 modules running.

Not sure what to do at this point.

Disable https scanning in the webshield and see if it solved the problem.
