Suddenly missing Avast protection

Hello Folks,

I have been using Avast for about 14 years, and have never regretted having installed and used it. So recently I decided to update my protection and purchased extra cover.
However, in the last couple of days I have noticed a message on my avast interface, that my trial is almost up and must be renewed. What trial?? Today I am informed that my ‘trial’ period has expired and that I am no longer protected. However, the cover that I purchase earlier this year does not expire until 20/4/2018.
I have the confirmation from Avast after they received my payment that my cover has been converted to full protection, together with my order number etc. So to now find the warning, ‘Avast Antivirus: WARNING, your system is UNSECURED’is annoying, and very worrying. >:( :’(

Does anybody please have any thoughts or ideas on this please? Many thanks for all and any help.

My ‘trial’ period expired on 20th of April, and was then automatically converted to the paid service - no problems and everything was fine, but why the message and lack of cover should arise I do not know. Anyway did put in the autorization code and it accepted that. So now all is fine…at least , perhaps, until the 20th of June…?? :-\ We’ll see.
