Opera has a little community, compared to other browsers, but it is a security-aware/safety-conscious community.

In Privacy-section there is a ‘Browser Shield’, but it doesn’t support/protect Opera.

Care to expand on what it is that you mean by “Adding Opera Browser to Avast Browser Protection”.
Given the sub-forum you have posted in, I can only assume you mean the Web Shield or perhaps the Avast Secure Browser for Windows or perhaps you mean the Avast Online Security (browser extension). If you mean the Avast Online Security (browser extension) there is a sub-forum for that - https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=99.0
In all honesty I don’t use the add-on as I don’t think it brings much to the party if you already have Avast Antivirus already installed with its Web Shield component.
I felt it just brought checks to what is returned in your searches, icons/warnings to your results, some graffiti icons, etc. so I ended up removing it.
