It is a nightmare when you do a search and you want to find results for just one of products and not all 3. The search results are scrambled up with all 3 products. When I do a search because of a problem with one product, I want the search results for that one product and not all 3.
I like that idea, but I’d rather seperate into:
Anti Virus Engine Issues
Firewall & Sandbox Issues
Scriptshield & Antispam Issues
Yeah.
Also, the paid users could have a separate space to get help.
As a disadvantage, would be the wrong posts, the segregation of free/paid users, etc.

Just an additional section would do it, but I am also afraid of cross-posting by newbies. How many times we see malware and virus and FP issues not posted in the “virus and worms” but in the general or other sections and that is not handy for the helpers/eliminators.
The paid software section could easily replace the open forum section,

not exactly like that imo but yes, separate sections, and nothing to do do with paid or not paid Tech :

separate sections for:
1 purely AV related stuff
2 firewall
3 sandboxing (and upcoming process control)
(scriptshield antispam and behavior shield being ghost features so far, I don’t think they deserve a section of their own, or may be in “other” ;D )
So, seriously, three sections are obviously needed.
Did you try keyword combination? If you have problem with firewall, then, include it in one of the keywords, to get the better result.
As for the board division, I’m inclined to agree with polonus. Since the product components are like this: Free<Pro<Suite, even the user of Suite may find a solution in the posts by Free users, dividing the forum can end up with duplicated(triplicated)/scattered information.
