As a reseller of AVG products for the last 12 years I would like to make the following suggestions to Avast, in the hope that things will improve now it has been sold to you
- Get rid of Zen
- Stop all the popup adverts in AVG products offering tune up, driver update and all the other junk
- Bring backup internal reseller scheme - AVG used to have it but then moved it out to a 3rd party, since then we no longer get commission on renewals or any kind of good support
- Continue the great avast community for AVG users - support is not one of AVG’s strong points, forums are poor, so despite products being good this lets them down
Hope you don’t mind my comments, but as a PC repair business in the UK and a reseller for 12 years selling 100’s of licences each year I really would like to see the resellers contacted and the opinions considered as part of this transition!!!

Welcome to the Avast forums.
Just to be clear, you’re a reseller of the AVG consumer products, correct? I’m judging from your description – as I don’t think that the stuff you were talking about is present in the AVG corporate products.

Yes I am a reseller of the “consumer” products
