Hi malware fighters,
Sun Microsystems is working on a new developing technology for webapplications as an alternative
for ajax. Sun’s so-called Project Flair is an open-sourceproject that is still beind developed, according to Dan Ingalls, Sun developer and main researcher of this project.
Towards the end of the year Sun is expected to launch a developers’version, so web developers can
have a go at this new technology.
“It has been fully coded using Javascript and it is almost a complete turn on the way Ajax works”, Ingalls informs. “Ajax has a way of doing things in an old-fashioned way. It makes things simple, but the dark side of it is bad html, css and all that sort of things.”
Acoording to the developers ‘we knew what how to tidy up dynamical progamming code thirty years agowisten, and also how to use a simple representing modell’. “Flair takes us back to the days of that
simple model and adds collaboration and web functionality as an extra.”
Nice, but the big question remains, will it mean enhanced security?
