Sunbelt Kerio [ last edition ] or Lock n' Stop Firewall

Good afternoon,

I have Avast 4.8 and now I need one good firewall.

I think Sunbelt Kerio [ last edition ] or LnS.

Your opinion ?

Thanks

Miky

The Sunbelt firewall works well with avast! and Sunbelt seem to have done some development work on the firewall recently.

If you search the forum, you’ll find plenty of other suggestions regarding firewalls.

Hi,of the two choices; LnS. It is a lifetime license plus there are lots of internet filtering rulesets available .
Kerio is subscription based and reverts to the free version after the subscription expires.

My recommendation for good, fast, lite on resources & easy to use security is avast!, Opera, OpenDNS, WinPatrol & ZoneAlarm Free Firewall.

PC Tools Firewall Plus is based on Look n Stop, so if you like LnS you may want to try PC Tools Firewall Plus. It’s free.

PC Tools Firewall Plus passes more firewall tests than Kerio & LnS.

I’d go for comodo firewall

miky never came back to see the suggestions… :‘(
Kerio gave me a BSOD… maybe due to avast + K9 installed… back to Windows Vista firewall :’(
