Just noticed that SUPERAntiSpyware scanner is now on VirusTotal ?..when will we se MBAM ?

WOW :o Very interesting to see SUPERAntiSpyware scanner is now on VirusTotal, and it good to see that when we need to check thing to make sure a file is okay or not.

The only malware scanner on VirusTotal have been a-squared, now we also have superantispyware, we hope to also see MBAM and if you have purchased MBAM then you have purchased the best..... ;)

It’s not that, just thought SASwas being detected by various AVs as malware …got confused… Ooops!

It isn’t outdated at all it is a current supported avast version and there are still many people using it because their OS isn’t supported by avast5, simple really.

That’s not what I meant, David. (Both versions are outdated…!)
It’s not about the OS, as also the 4.8 version they use is an old one. (4.8.1368 is out for a very long time)
They (VT) right now use:
Avast 4.8.1351.0
Avast5 5.0.332.0

They are special builds not the standard avast builds so that they can be run as command line scans for the use put on virustotal.

Given some of the really obscure AVs on there already I would have though that they would be better.

However, given that SAS and MBAM are anti-spy/malware there will be times when they look a bit poor in regard to virus infections and certainly stuff.
