superantispyware V4 question?

I know I should ask on their website forum but I wondered whether you knowlegable people would know. When I do a complete scan it scans the memory and registry yet doesnt appear to scan any files (the file count doesnt go up) and it completes the full scan in under 5 minutes is this a bug or is there something I’m missing?

ps in the previous version it took just under an hour for a complete scan and it scan over 30000 files now it seems to not do its job

the older version took longer to scan and the newer version is lots quicker…make sure you use the full scan…no problem with mine…in pic it is scanning the files

DrHayen,thats Spyware T, not SAS. ;D
When you do a full scan, make sure you check C\ Drive for scan location. If you haven’t,and have checked D\Drive or E\Drive instead,SAS will scan the memory and registry,as in your case, but not any files

Dan, your image is for SpywareTerminator and the topic is about SuperAntiSpyware ;D

Have you made any tweaks to the scan settings ?

It looks like the Drives might have been unchecked.

oh…hey i just turned 59 march 19th-guess my brain and eyesight are going ;D

I did have C:\ checked and I havent changed any settings they are on default any other ideas why this is happening?

my log stats:

Scan type : Complete Scan
Total Scan Time : 00:03:10

Memory items scanned : 394
Memory threats detected : 0
Registry items scanned : 5000
Registry threats detected : 0
File items scanned : 0
File threats detected : 0

I would suggest you now try the SAS forums as we have covered the obvious issues, http://forums.superantispyware.com/. Try a search first and see if this has happened before.

Or you could try a reinstall and see if that resolves the problem.

I’ll keep you posted, thanks again

edit: tried to uninstall it and reinstall it and the problem remains, not getting much help at their forums
