Support tickets

Support ticket requests are a joke. I submitted one on 9-29-14, no reply.
Submitted another 10-20-14, still no reply. I asked for a refund on an upgrade several days after upgrading from Avast Free Antivirus to Avast Internet Security. It’s new features do not work. The Safezone works at a crawl. You wait forever, they get an error message. Bad upgrade.

Well, the system is FIFO, so submiting a new ticket send your request for the bottom of the list.
Can you post the number of the tickets?

I had the same experience, as far as Avast totally ignoring tickets. I bought Grimefighter only to discover immediately that it does not work with Bootcamp. Obviously legit reason to refund. But clearly Avast has no functioning customer service.

My suggestion if you want a refund is go to your credit card company. I was able to report Avast to mine and they have taken them on.

Please explain how a ticket you submitted “first” weeks ago is pushed to the bottom just because another ticket is submitted and becomes “last” out?

Thanks for the link, but unless I’m missing something, that relates to last reply time… meaning the last time anyone replied on that ticket. How would that relate to a user creating a new ticket?

The more disturbing part of that link is user after user is complaining about the same thing which shows that there is an obvious problem… fix it

The main problem is that users don't know how the ticked system is working and that they don't have patience.
