Hi 
How can I suppress alerts comming in from when Avast is scanning my emails and finds virii there? I just want it to automatically delete the emails/virii and that’s it… I don’t want to be notified with a popup each time it finds a virus in there.

You can’t do it into Home version… The automatically feature is only on the Professional one.
You can select ‘Silent Mode’ and the answer ‘No’ on the Advanced tab of settings to send the file to Chest (both in Internet Mail provider and Standard Shield).

Start Avast and open the help section from the menu. Do a search for “silent”. It is explained there.
