Exploit code has been published for a security flaw in Nvidia’s Linux graphics driver that could let a remote intruder take over a system. Because the attack is on the device driver, warns George Ou, it does not require root privileges. George writes: “These kinds of device driver flaws aren’t limited to Linux; they have recently plagued all operating systems from FreeBSD to Linux to Windows to Mac OS X.”
