suspicious=== desktop.ini ===

this thing just suddenly appear anywhere in my pc specifically folders and desktop. Could somebody tell me what this is and what does it have to do with my computer. i can’t delete it, well i did but it would reappear still. is this some of the work of viruses that invades my pc files? can my avast anti virus software be able to fix this?

Desktop.ini is a system file. It can be associated with ZeroAccess, but, I haven’t seen a case of ZA in ages now.

Oh, stick to your thread in the virus removal section!

FRST un-hid it. It’s routine. Don’t be alarmed. Someone will help you, and re-hide them when their done.
