Hi, I’m using this page https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0 to help get rid of the problem, I have downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and cannot figure out how to get to View Detailed Log in order to export a text file to receive some assistance. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the site listed in the subject header is constantly popping up every 5 seconds and needs to be stopped. (process C:\Windows\explorer.exe)

Could you use system restore and restore the computer a few days back
When using System Restore - you will need to disable the avast Self-Defence Module, in the avastUI > Settings > Troubleshooting or System Restore can mess up the avast installation.
I turned avast off completely and used combofix to do a system restore and the problem still persists.

The problem started yesterday, so I went as far back as I could with the System Restore, which was the 21st. I disabled the Avast function as you suggested, but System Restore was not completed successfully: unspecified error occurred (0xc0000022). The only other restore point option was todays date. Any suggestions on what to try next?
Did the restore albeit partial stop the alerts ?
I just made sure that gaming mode was turned off on avast so that popups would return and so far there have been no problems!!! Thank you so much for the assistance and I will return to this forum if the problem arises again
It is a workaround that cures the problem. But, I would rather know what is causing it. So far no success on that front
