Swaping license through computers

Hi everyone!
Recently I just built a new computer and I will even change my hard drive.
I want to know if I can utilize my current license in this new computer, since I will sell the old one to a friend. But I still have 1 year of premium protection and I dont want to waste it…
I was thinking if there is a way to unauthorize or deactivate my current license in this computer, so I can use in the new one…

Please help…

Welcome to the forum.
Uninstall avast! and then run http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility to get rid of the rest of the program and registry entries.
Save the email you received with your license key and use that file on the new computer.
Enjoy the new computer. :slight_smile:

Yes you can use your current license in a new computer . remember to uninstall Avast! in the old one. That is all you have to do.

EDIT: Bob beat me to it. faster fingers I guess.

Maybe it’s because I’m currently in Arizona and their time zone is one hr ahead of home ??? ;D ;D ;D

You were in AZ and our time zone is the only state that has it’s own time zome, called “Arizona mountain Time” I am in Tucson, so we need to go have a Czech Beer together.

I’m in AZ and will be here till 6/3/2012. Right now I’m in Mesa, AZ
(About 2 hrs. away.)
