I want to swithc from norton 2002 professional 2002 to avast but I have 1 question. Does avast support mozilla email? Does it scan outgoing and incoming?
Avast supports all pop/smtp mail 
and can scan both incomming and outgoing. If you make the switch make sure Norton is removed completely !

Thanks for the quick reply Eddy. I have already downloaded all the instructions for removing Norton’s. I have heard the horror stories. I think I will give avast a try, nothing to lose since it it free.
