Can anyone tell me how to switch my avast protection from old computer to new computer?

  1. Uninstall on old system.
  2. Reinstall on new system.
  3. Enter license.
  4. Reboot

How many times can this be done? The reason that I am asking this question is because my hobby is computer hardware. I frequently change components (usually to upgrade, but not always) and often have to reinstall the OS and the browsers and then I need to reinstall Avast. This gets tiresome but is necessary and sometimes gets expensive. I do NOT do this commercially and do not sell computers. These are all my own machines. I have four and overclock the processors. I wish there was an easier way to reinstall the virus protection without wrecking my budget.

As long as these computers are for personal use, you could always install the free version. That's one way not to wreck any ones budget. :)
