It is an absolutely awful add on. I have just lost two days of my life sorting it out. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I agree completely! I too would like to know how to turn this “feature” OFF!

Hi everyone – it’s easy to disable the component in the Avast user interface – click Settings in the bottom left, then Components.
