sygate security check

hi,
i have just done some security scans from sygate website and got this info from the results,

Operating System = Windows Windows 98
Browser = Firefox 0.9.1
ICMP 8 OPEN
Results from scan of commonly used trojans at TCP/IP
Results from scan of ICMP at TCP/IP
WEB PROXY 8080 OPEN

all the other ports/info on my computor is blocked by my firewalls, but is this info i got from the security checks enough to worry about, or can i sleep easy noing i am protected enough?.

Also when i clicked on the ICMP scan it said “This scan is not enabled yet” is this something i need to enable or do sygate need to make it avalible still?

P.S. I just wanted to make sure it is ok for me to post this here, or should i be posting this in another section of this forum?.

Since you asked, This is actually for Avast related issues. If you look below the last post on the page, you can choose which forum you want to post your topic in.
The other two are a General Subject and the there is the Off Topic Forum where we have a whole lot of different usually non Avast related subjects.
Why not enjoy all 3 Forums… :slight_smile:

Do a search for sygate securyty. there are already posts esablished for that subject…
