Virus Bulletin has released its August 2009 test, this time for Windows Vista SP2 Business. Out of the 35 products tested, 11 of them failed.

pctools is owned by norton now so i assume they would use their engine if anything.

but, about VB100 test result there is one thing I’m thinking of, they just say “PASS” and “FAILD” and there is no difference their detection rate quality, for example now ESET, F-Secure, Alwil and Avira has win the test, but for sure Alwil is working better than something like F-Secure… I wish they could put result in a table with Order number depending on detection rate and performance impact and false positive and something such as…
