Sys32 Pup-Gen found

My Avast free caught a virus and told me to restart and run a scan in the root level, so I did. I saw six or seven files that were corrupt and pressed Repair, but repair didn’t work so I pressed to delete the files. It then it continued with another scan, and many of them were Sys32 Protect or Sys32 Pup-gen. I stepped away from the computer as the scan ran for more than an hour. So, the computer restarted by itself.

My question is this… is my computer safe now?
