Well, these are two screenshots of the avast splash screen at 1152 x 864 pixels, 32bit color (depth).
The first, the system font is 96ppp: the phrase is too long to fit in the screen.
The second, the system font is 120ppp: there are a lot of distortions.
It has always been like this, the problem is to accommodate foreign (e.g. Japanese) characters, the bitmap is always the same, so if you change the font resolution, it becomes distorted…
Well, it could, but an easier “fix” was actually done for the Japanese version in the latest update - the splash dialog itself was enlarged (which, as you can guess, can be done easily in Passolo for the Japanese project).
If so, can’t you make the splash screen ‘independent’ of the system font size, I mean, correct the distortion of the non-Japanese computers in this situation?
