avast asks me alot that the system needs to be restarted… Is this normal or there is a problem in my system
Are you installed today pre-release 4.8.1185? It is normal to restarting after this install.
I’m not sure … but this is my first day to use avast home edition
If you keeps getting the avast pop-up that you need to restart the system this is not normal and click no if they keeps asking to restart the system.
Did you download the avast home edition from http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html?
Or you download it from the other website?
Try download again the avast installer and then uninstall the previous one with aswclear.exe
After uninstall please reboot then reinstall avast and reboot.
It’s not normal… avast should update and ask for reboot on program updates, not at all boot time. Maybe you could post the latest 200-250 lines of the setup.log file at avast log folder.
