System Restore: Path cannot be specified.

After a recent Full Scan, although though no viruses were detected, about 30 .dll files and the like were marked as unreadable due to Avast being unable to find the path specified. In a previous scan Avast detected A0141902.exe in the System Volume Information_restore. I moved the file to the Virus Chest and moved on. A day later I ran another Full Scan and received the results previously mentioned. After reading a topic about _restore files falling victim to malware I want to know the best course of action which I should take and, if possible, how to remove the files, despite that their path cannot be found.

They are all in system restore and Avast does not delete them as it breaks the restore points
The easiest way is to clear the restore points

Clear Restore Points

Go Start > All Programmes > Accessories > System tools
Right click Disc Cleanup and select run as administrator
When it pops up at the first prompt select OK after it has done some calculations the tabs will appear
Select More Options tab
Press Sytem Restore and Shadow Copies Cleanup button
