Hi

I have avast antivirus scan 4 home edition.
How do I disable the animations on the icon in
the system tray? Without diabling some import
protective features?

This tool created by one of the forum members allows for many tweaks and customisations of avast.

RejZor’s avast! External Control program. Once downloaded create a Folder for it and unzip it into it and run the program, the section you want is the ‘avast! Tweaker’ you will see the animated tray icons untick the box.
