Hi - a friend’s system has this scenario - I have no experience of Avast and have only spoken on phone to him; not seen system yet - may pop to his office tomorrow if I have time. He’s tried starting in safe mode, gone to older system settings as a restore, to no avail.
Someone unused to the system apparently switched on PC and thought was slow - saw was scanning files, etc - and switched PC off and system refused to reboot since - is there anything I can suggest they do? Thanks!
