I have just updated and rebooted with avast HE 4.1.416
Now when i execute avast and try to display the settings (on-demand) the ashSimpl.exe crashes all the time. No settings could be displayed. My avast worked fine until the last update…

The worst thing is that I don’t have necessary tools to fix it right now…

4.1.418 is the answer. Sorry for the inconvenience (English version users won’t even have to reboot when updating 416->418).
