Hi… New here.
Just wondering.
I have been using avast for about one month now.
No problems until about a week ago.
The blue icon “a” and “i” do not animate anymore. ( they don’t spin around )
They are there, but they are “frosen”.
I can use them as normal.
Schould i be concerned.
Sorry if my English sucks.
Did you uncheck the option for spinning?
We don’t use this word here in forums ;D

Many thanks.
It seems like that took care off it. Don’t know why that was unchecked.
About certain words we don´t use here. :-[
Sorry for that. It wont happen again. ;D

hmmm…
You know what???
Now it doesn’t animate again. ???
This time the “animate icon” is enabled.
My “security center” says that avast is up and running. I don’t like it.
I would feel a lot better, if i could see it was working.
The icons are there and they are blue. Should i be concerned

By repair I suppose you don´t mean >uninstall and then >install again.

In the progress about to look stupid :o

Thanks everyone
Some place to hide the “repair-function”
It works again. ;D
Be used to… a lot of applications nowadays are adding a ‘repair’ option into Control Panel.
Did you ever tryed Microsoft Office repair, for instance?
Glad it works. Welcome to avast! forums.

Some even bury it in the programs uninstall routine, so you have to start by choosing uninstall before you are given a repair or re-install option.
The main thing is you are up and running again, welcome to the forums.

I don´t have Microsoft Office. I use Open Office, so… no I have never tried that.
But I seems to remember that Open Office have a repairfunktion somewhere in
the uninstall function.
