Systray function.

When you double click the Avast! systray icon you get the “On-access protection control” is there a way to change it so that doubleclicking starts Avast! AV? I will be using that much more that “O-APC”

you can right-click on it and choose start avast! antivirus :wink:

I am aware of that :slight_smile: but I am lazy and it would be easier to just double click it. Usually double clicking any icon, systray or not, opens the most used option. I think “Start Avast!” would be used much more than “On-access protection control”.

oops…sorry… ;D

but i think clicking the ‘a’ icon in the systray points to the resident shield…becoz the resident shield is very much configurable…by the way…just a single left click will do…

as for me…i seldom open up the main program unless i do a scan…

sorry that i didn’t know of any ways to change it

But, Brad3d, if you are so lazy, why don’t you have an icon pointing to the Home Edition?

Then add that icon to the quick launch. Then you will have what you want with a single click!
