I have Windows '98 and Eudora email.
I also get a free WEB MAIL with my ISP
every thing was “hunky dory” until I downloaded AVG. Now I cannot send emails in Eudora !
SO THEY CAN GET STUFFED I’VE HAD ENOUGH !
I am uninstalling it.
This is the Avast forum, not AVG. Did you mean Avast? If not, go ahead and uninstall AVG
and download Avast and give it a try. http://www.avast.com/eng/programs.html You’ll love it

Hi Sasha, best to you too. I’m usually in here lurking at least a couple of times a day, but since I don’t have an obsessive-compulsive thing about number of posts or “rating”, you might not see me for a while unless there’s something I feel I can actually contribute to.

Yes, and worst of all… he was so pissed off, and for nothing… avast! is not the guilty one… see here:
And that was his very first post in this forum. See the number of his posts… only one. That means, he never came into this forum to ask for help or to find an answer to his questions… but only, to say how AVG is bad antivirus… hahaha. Maybe he wanted to say avast!.. but enough said… he didn’t even take enough time to see what’s the name of this antivirus… OMG : If he spent little bit more time trying to configure his antivirus, he would make his Eudora work properly. There is nothing that would make Eudora stop working, especially not avast! He should just configure mail protection wizard properly… that’s all… 
If he does come back, let us show him his first appearance to this forum.

I am here very long time, so I know how much of my spare time I and many others spent on trying to help others… so when someone comes to these forums just to bash and having nothing clever to say, it takes our precious time. Remember, we don’t get anything for our help… and we don’t ask for anything…
So, if we sometimes want to make jokes, we will do that… as long as we don’t insult anyone, we are free to do that. Right ?

alanrf - I’m sorry, I’m really sorry if I offended you or anyone else somehow. You know that wasn’t my or anyone’s intention… but sometimes, we really feel sad when people like that guy from the initial post in this thread, comes and never asks for help. Sure we could help him… easily. Someone is always here to jump in. His only intention was just to tell us how he is pissed off with this antivirus. Why ? Because of that little minor problem, that we even can not call a problem ? He should have just asked us, and someone would solve that in just one reply…
