I do not know alot about how to care for my computer. i want to understand more about how to protect it and i dont know where to start. ive tried looking for books and information but i get so confused i dont know what to do or where to start. i would appreciate any help.
You’re not saying what your using.OS and so on.
If you use Avast,Malwarebytes on demand and a firewall, you should have no problems.
You can start by installing Avast! and then you have to read a lot.
