Taskbar Pop-Up

I just installed Avast on my system and it is running great.

There is one thing that is really annoying me. Every minute or so in my taskbar an avast icon will show up and then disappear a second later. It seems to do this when I send mail or when it is scanning a file. It looks like a blue rain drop or something like that. I can never click on it because it goes away too fast.

How can I turn this off so it performs this task without flashing the icon in my taskbar?

It is driving me nuts :-[!

It is the email scanner icon and is only displayed whilst email is being scanned and goes off, I don’t even notice it but it is reasuring you the email scanner is working.

Sorry that it was in another thread.

I did a search for “taskbar pop up” before I asked the question and could not find anything. Next time I will look harder.
