Taxman 2010 and Taxman 2011 does not start on Avast Internet Security 5.1.864 (German)on Windows 7 Home 32bit and Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Is there an workaround to fix the Problem?
Does Taxman 201? use .net framework ?
If so you might want to try the pre-release build of 5.1.874, see http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=68927.0.
Or if you don’t want to try that, try uninstalling the Behaviour Shield; Windows add remove programs, avast!, click the Change/Remove button, Change, now uncheck the Behaviour Shield and OK your way out, reboot.

You’re welcome, does the Taxman software require .net ?
Do you mean that Taxman doesn’t work with 5.1.874 rather than the other way round. If taxman doesn’t require .net then perhaps the fix in the 874 build won’t have any impact.
Though it does still look behaviour shield related and that was some of the major change in the 874 build.
Taxman required .net framework, java runtime, silverlight, visual_studio_runtime_8 and the flash player.
For all i have installed the newest one.
The fix in 5.1.874 doesn´t work with Taxman.
When I uncheck the behaviour shield taxman will start normal.
I think there is an mistake in the behaviour shield so the Taxman can´t start.
I hope the next build will fix this problem 
Yeah, some .NET apps were not able to start with 874 build (I know only about 3-4 apps, but I think we found the problem).
Please try to apply this patch (only for 32-bit OS):
- download http://public.avast.com/~kurtin/public/snx_01/package.zip & unpack
- in safe mode (pls backup original files):
- copy “snxhk.dll” to avast program folder (\Program Files\alwil software\avast5)
- copy aswsp.sys/aswsnx.sys to windows driver folder (\Windows\system32\drivers)
- Restart
