Hello Everyone! I encountered an issue with Avast One. Since the recent update, build no. 25.10.10528.762, the app has been launching frequently without my supervision. Despite my attempts in closing the app, it opens yet again, which is a problem when I am working with something else. I have tried turning the silent mode on and off and it still does not work. I have tried placing Avast One on the Do Not Disturb list and it still does not work. I am a free user, and despite the offers provided by the app, I am not inclined to spend further for the basic protection is enough as is. I hope for a solution to this issue. Thank you!

Hey! That happened to me too after the update. What fixed it was going into Avast settings → General → Notifications and turning off all the pop-up or background alerts. Also, disable Avast Behavior Shield auto pop-ups under Protection settings. Then restart your PC, it should stop launching on its own.

Same. I put Avast in Silent Mode a while back. For the past few days, it’s been launching an intrusive popup every 10 minutes or so to notify me that I’m in Silent Mode and to “Enjoy the quiet while we silence pop-ups on this PC.” Argh! I’m a paid user on a Windows 11 PC.
