Hi all,

I have done a quick search on the forum and cant yet find the answer so sorry if there is already ::slight_smile:

But I’ve been doing some playing and testings of services and processes on the Mobile Avast Firewall on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and can not get a successfully connection to the portable hotspot on it from my iPad3 unless I untick ‘Enable Firewall’

Could someone put me out of my misery and inform me which services/processes I need to allow (using whitelist mode) to get portable hotspot working without turning off the firewall to get it to work :slight_smile:

you could look at the firewall log to check which traffic gets blocked…

maybe its linux kernel?

I have the same issue here.
looks like dhpc-traffic is blocked but i already allowed “Linux-Kernel” ?!??
Any Ideas ?!?
