I am sorry for my bad english :-[

My problem with Avast Home Edition :

To whenever I receive a file through Windows Messenger, the memory test Avast launches itself and next I have two windows that systematically open :

  • a window “interface user” and a “Menu”.

If I receive 10 files at the same time, I have therefore 20 windows that open… :-\

Please, can you help me ?

I suppose that you set ashsimple.exe to scan your messenger files. It’s not correct, it should be:
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe
But look, avast! has a specific provider for Messenger: see the IM provider and just check for Messenger to be scanned.

Besides that, maybe you have an option, at the end of the help (you’re saying menu) to disable the ‘second’ window.
