Testing Firefox 3.6

Hi malware fighters,

Just downloaded the new Namoroka 3.6.Alpha 1. This “pre-release version” of the Gecko 1.9.2 platform, forming the actual kernel of Firefox is only for developers and testers. With Nightly Tester Tools and NoScript and Request Policy extensions etc. aboard, I thought I was secure enough to try it out. The browser apparently has some new improvements, like a new ‘focus model’, various CSS3 features together with improved TraceMonkey JavaScript engine speed. Firefox 3.6 is above all about “performance” and “personalisation”. Early September the first public beta is due out, and in November we are awaiting a general launch of the new Fx browser,

Hi Polonus,

There is even the option to test it in a portable environment:

It looks pretty good, and I like the 'ask to save tabs option
Although none of my addons work…I think I’ll stick to 3.5.2 for now…

EDIT:Apparently the ‘save tabs option’ is there in 3.5…I moved the profile instead of copying it…::slight_smile:
