If the words kinds of are meant as a discriptor for the word malware, then I suppose you’re correct.
If on the other hand the statement is meant to convey that Avast! protects us against all malware, then those words aren’t needed.

Agreed, but could you claim you protect again all malware??? Would you want to claim that? I believe there will allways be one that is ahead of you, until you trap that one. Dealing with microsoft (and other large companies), you should be very carefull about what you say.
