Hello to the Avast! community, I decided to register here today after downloading the Avast 5 B2.
For years I have been intrigued with the constant battle of computer viruses around the world, over the past year or two I have spent countless hours reviewing, comparing and testing any legitimate anti-virus I could get my hands on. I have extensively tried and tested the following products:
- G-Data
- McAfee
- Norton
- Kaspersky
- AVG
- Panda
- Microsoft
- Avira
- BitDefender
- Eset
- Sophos
+Many other AV’s from small-name vendors, Spybot S&D…etc.
After trying all of them, discovering which ones I liked and the ones I didn’t. I almost always have found myself coming back to Avast! for various reasons. So, I installed Avast 5 this week and immediately after installing it and opening the interface I was in awe.
Avast 5 is BY FAR the best AV I have ever used. Everything from the layout to the simplicity of the program to its great detection rates has me being a very happy Anti-virus enthusiast.
So to the subject of my post, I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to the Avast! team for its wonderful work on Avast 5. I think for once I have finally found the AV I will settle on…
