That annoying voice announcement

How do I get rid of that annoying male voice who constantly and loudly advises me “Virus database has been updated.” He’s got to go.

Upgrade to V5 beta2 and the voice is a by a pleasant female voice.

Right click on avast! icon in the taskbar then Program Settings then Sounds then Settings then scroll down to avast! antivirus then set the Automatic VPS update sound to (None)

I like it since I then know my computer speed will be back to normal. My wife leaves her speakers off (not endorsing, just reporting).
