I love Avast but that voice sounds like Alvins sister. It’s too high pitched. can that be fixed? keep up the great work Avast team!!!
It hardly sounds like a chipmunk. It’s a normal, pleasing voice to me.
Thanks ardvark, I"ll give it a try
You’re welcome, I hope it works.

Alvin’s sister! ;D ;D Are you sure you’re sound card isn’t playing tricks on you?
He just has one of those new 6 core processors and it’s really fast ;D

Well, I don’t know Alvins sister…
But you can deactivate the voice, so you get a ‘ping’ sound or deactivate sounds at all…

I’m not hearing a chipmunk.

After hearing this I will say the sounds in 4.8 were much better.

Never liked Dolly. She sounds like a 5 year old. I prefer Linda Ronstadt, she can sing. KD Lang is okay too (If I don’t have to see her). The Avast! voice is fine and sounds perfectly normal to me but then I am only running a single core so maybe it’s running at a slower speed. ;D

No, they eat “small animal food”

Hi…
From what I understand, she’s a nice lady, though, even if you don’t like her voice.
