Thats what i'm talking about!

Updated today and already in action. Would certanly like to see more of this, especially for SdBot, Rbot and various other stuff thats encountered in large quantities and variants ;D

Nice to see the inclusion of more generic style detections. More so when that inclusion has picked up a virus that not many of the others detect.

With the exception of f-prot which detected on a virus signature the others that detected it appeared to do so with generic detection ?

Only the left half of that page would have been nice, too! ;D

(Well, not really much of a problem for me as a light press (click) on
my mouse scroll wheel gives 4-way scrolling … but many do not have
this and must manually pull the page over and back again.)

No problem here with 1680X1050 screen resolution ;D

On that new widescreen I am sure that looks great.

And, though this 19" ProView crt can support up to 1280x1024,
I kind of like the 1024x768 resolution I’m at now. Of course, IF I
had a nice new wide screen … 8)

Edit:

Actually, I’ve decided to try 1152x864 for a while as that allows
for less side scrolling. So far … so good.

But, do really avast take advantage with this Jotti & VirusTotal? I mean, do really avast collect sample from this website? Because I look the count of virus in VPS release still just a few and not daily.

Yeah that sometimes makes me wonder too…

Which version of Firefox has this nice virusscan feature?

Thanks

Jan Paul.

Jotti VirusScan is just an online scanner and is not related with Firefox in any way.

I think this was raised before and whilst Jotti does send undetected samples to those AVs that didn’t detect the sample, this reporting isn’t immediate but yes avast does benefit from participation in the Jotti resource.
