I just started using avast…what does this message mean? It shows when I click the icon on the bottom of my screen.

RPC is Remote Procedure Call a Windows essential service.
Go Administrative Tools > Services.
Set both avast services to automatically run on Windows startup.
Boot.
If this not work, try to repair your avast installation (Control Panel).
Do you have any other antivirus installed?
