since creating the disk looks like its going to take 3 hours i decided to see whats going on
WHY IN THE NAME OF %DEITY% is it installing the entire (x86 and amd64) WAIK to create what should be a fairly small disk??
btw its a bit rude to download and install multiple GIGS of files with no warning.
Since that’s the only wait to produce an up-to-date, customized WinPE image? You might complain to MS about their failure to provide the required tools by default.
so if somebody had a copy of the correct WAIK (im assuming the Win7 version) in place it should go a lot faster right??
maybe in an update to the feature there could be a rolling check list of “stuff” so that it does not look like things have frozen when they haven’t.
