I have been a member of the Pinecone Research survey panel for a long time and when I redeem my latest participation reward to cash in my PayPal account, I use The Award Card website operated by Whapps, Inc, to get the payment credited to my account.
When I tried to get the latest redemption payment, avast! was flagging the Whapps, Inc, The Award Card and their PayPal interface sites as phishing - I redeemed a reward in December 2025 and did not have this problem, so this is probably a false positive: a URL scan with VirusTotal flagged 1 warning and that was Yandex SafeBrowse, a Russian site.
I’ve completed the redemption process successfully by telling avast! that I want to continue (I had to do that 3 or 4 times in the process) and I can’t tell you the link on here - brilliant.
