comodo firewall personal, comodo boclean, spyware terminator, superantispyware free, system safety monitor, sandboxie, returnil, winpatrol free, a-squared free, and so on. Could you share your experience? Best Regards.
Hi, tech,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I would add the samurai hips, xp antispy, neovaguard hips, drivesentry, sensiveguard, gentlesecurity free, prosecurity free, ghostwall , arovax hips, arovax antispyware, Winsonar 2007 XP process monitor, spyware guard, spyware blaster, Busyport 2006, ExeHound 2005 , File Hunter 2006, SoftPerfect Personal Firewall , antihook 2.6 , PCTools Firewall, Filelabs Firewall, shadowsurf, etc…If I remember more, I would add them in. It’s a good idea for someone is broke.Best Regards.
I can’t. Only moderators could do that. It’ll be good anyway.
About the firewall, webroot is not a freeware trutable company. Don’t misunderstand me. It’s a good company. Just not a good freeware company. At any time they could change the status from freeware to shareware, or limit the functionability and features of the free version. Just my opinion.
I think Webroot firewall is now free because they have problems for sell it. If a lot of people download and use this FW, then Webroot will change the status of his FW. MARKETING!!
;D
Ok Doc. Marketing and business, this kind of companies whatever minds! I’d like to add to the list another good freeware. At the www.netveda.com. Who tried it on? Best Regards.
“Safety.Net 4.0, the next major release will support Vista. We have not announced the release date yet. We will post in this forum when we open Safety.Net 4.0 for beta testing.“
I have it installed for the last two or three weeks. It works perfectly fine, not a single problem with it except everybody is screaming out there how bad ZA free protection is. I am behind a router here at work, and it passed all those firewall tests, so I really don’t need anything more than this. Nothing works nice an clean as ZA does here on my laptop. I don’t even know it’s installed, don’t see it, don’t hear it… it does what it’s supposed to do.
I think the issue is that the free version is crippled in its ‘outbound’ protection in the hope you will buy the pro version and the inclusion of trialware that bloats the installation.
In the Program Control, configuration area, the slider will only goes as far as Medium protection, if you want more you have to buy the Pro version.
