There really isn’t anything to apologise for.
It is nothing more than some things don’t translate well or may be misunderstood when English isn’t your first (and in my case only) language.
Some might have misunderstood your post as and attack on me (I know it isn’t) and were trying to put your mind at rest, that they didn’t think I would attack you. In the forums we do tend to stick up for each other as it is an avast family and were anyone to directly attack you they would be just as quick to speak out for you.
It is a series of misunderstandings and we do appreciate your input and 2006 is supposed to be the year of the spyware/trojan a big threat. This will no doubt continue to be the case in 2007, so yes it is good to monitor what is going on in the anti-spyware/trojan defence.
