I’m worried. How much time does this boot up scam thingy takes before it finishes? Someone plz help
It may take hours >> https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB132#artTitle
But it will basically fix everything right? Will my PC be fine after it?
Impossible to say

It’s not a malware as far as I’m aware. So after the boot scam my pc will be fine?
So after the boot scam my pc will be fine?Any special reason why you keep calling it a scam ?
My apologies, english is not my main language ( you should have noticed that by now ) but anyway, after the scan is over, everything will be fine right? My computer will restart or boot up again?

So why run a boot scan ?
It was automatic, and sorry for so many questions, I’m a noob in this
It finished just now, and my computer is fine fine. Thanks, you helped me a lot. Oh and of course thanks to avast too.
Glad your system is fine. We were all noob’s once, so a little information will help you here, should you do another virus scan: http://antivirus.about.com/b/2007/03/11/clean-quarantine-or-delete.htm
A boot-time scan can be dangerous as it will ask the user what to do with files if set that way, or it will automatically delete a file, without asking you first.
Either way, a wrong choice by you or the system can be disastrous. (Don’t run a boot-time scan unless you absolutely have to.)
All right, thanks, but i believe only 3 files were moved to quarantine, and the other files i have are fine, none were deleted
