My settings for the Chest Parameters is set to 256mb
What happenes to any file virus that you send to the chest that is larger than 256mb? does it get automatically deleted?
There two chest parameters, the first chest size, which needs to be reasonably high to cater for additions I have mine set to 512MB and it should never get to that sort of size, but I don’t want to set it to 0 (unlimited). Once you reach this limit you will get a not enough storage error, not particularly informative as people don’t associate it with the chest but their HDD. So it doesn’t relate to the file size but the capacity of the chest.
The second one file size, ‘max file size to be sent’ well it will do as it suggests, anything exceeding the maximum wont be sent by email to avast and you will get an error message displayed about exceeding the limit.
I have set mine at 2048KB as that restricts the size of file that you can email to avast and being on dial-up I wouldn’t want to exceed that.
