I NEVER use those services as chat and Messenger and so …
If you dont use those shields they wont use any resources but if you feel that you dont want them its better to uninstall the shield you dont want though add remove programs, double click avast and click change then untick those you dont want, repeat process to reinstall those shields when you want them.
They do not use any resources on my system but I leave them installed. 8)
